Marriage is the union of two people, who love each other deeply and wanna spend the rest of their life together. If that's not the main reason during proposal, and other reasons given like in order to have kids, getting marry for the sake of getting marry, or worst that's the right thing to do; I'll surely reply that guy "sorry no thanks, find someone else then".
