It's another gloomy rainy day, and time is ticking away...

Internet is such a major distraction, and somehow I really don't have the heart to focus wholly on my HRE notes. Could it be due to the weather? Such weather is just perfect for sleeping, and my morning was wasted doing that.

I'm quite excited to watch the last Twilight saga: Eclipse! .. But I just discovered it is not the last part yet, there is still "Breaking dawn". Which... er I better don't mention anything to avoid having spoiler and getting scolded.

Maybe I should just disconnect the internet in order to concentrate. Unless I plan to study thru' the night to tomorrow morning's test at 9am. But will be meeting the rest for McDonald's breakfast at 8 :)

Oh I almost forgot to mention about my new phone LG Cookie Fresh. Another impulsive buy, but it's really too cute to resist! Quite cheap as well, $178 w/o contract and free bluetooth headset! And also spent $39 to beautify it with Gmask, something which I had always wanted to do as well.

As I get older, I seems to realize life is really short, hence I try to be less hesitant and just do it. In the economics view point, people exist to consume in order to achieve the highest level of happiness (utility). My lecturer always like to joke that people work in order to go Orchard road, to shop and buy things = consumption of goods & services. Haha well true in a way. So don't waste your short life being unhappy, it's all about making yourself and those you care about, happy. All those troubles and worryings, will eventually sort itself out in time. Time will heal or let it fade...

I realize this is the only photo i have with Elsie with my new hairstyle, but without my fringe let down anyway. Not the first though, still got a few taken at the yacht club but haven't receive yet.

There is another thing which I wanted to do for a long time, which is to watch a spoof "Scary Movie". Channel 5 is showing later, at last I can watch.

out at sea

I love to be at the seaside. Yesterday got the chance to go out to sea, thanks to my friend's invitation. Had the greatest time! Even though many parts of my body are aching now.

Tried sailing and banana boat. Didn't really relish the capsizing part, as our limbs hit one another which was how we got our bruises. Then it rained as we are going back to the jetty. So didn't get to try the other water sports. Also got a airbrush tattoo at last! Had always wanted one.

Kinda finished watching the drama 下一站,幸福. It's really a fantastic show, now one of my favourite dramas of all-time. Touching storyline, with a handsome lead guy. However I just tend to become abit emo after watching such drama, recalling the events from the show for awhile. Somemore the theme song is my fav emo song. That's not good for me, but I still can't resist continue watching, too captivating...

I DON'T understand what is a group project for, why one completes all the sections in a report on his own??! The first time it happened, ended up half of the words are just copied over. WTH... he did not understand what we are doing or what we want, AT ALL.

Recalling the events that was only just yesterday morning, it was kinda drama-rama and really embarrassing!! Why didn't I just grab hold of the guy's arm instead of clinging onto his sling bag's strap and walking like a drunk, and I should have walked instead of being wheelchaired to the clinic... piangz.

Okay, i fainted in the public this time round. At the bustop outside my office, and only an indian guy who bothered to stop and helped me up (from the floor?) I really not sure what happened after i fainted, luckily I didn't hit my head much, only my left cheek bone feels abit bruised still.

Well I know I have dragged it long enough, I will go for the health screening checkup next month. I can't run away from the bloodsucking needles anymore, no matter how much I fear them.

The longer you procrastinate, and time is running out, the stress just triples. Sometimes I wish I don't have to think about facing the consequences, and can just do what i want.

It seems I have thought it to be easy. Really underestimated the requirements of my school work. Even an assigment seems to need in-depth research, and I thought just a few phrases would be enough. Now I don't think I'm cut out for it. To be a university graduate with my level? Maybe I'm just kidding myself.

I am doing my project now, but happen to come across something I thought I just write it here.

There's this book I borrowed for my project on Sustainability, but one of its chapters actually mentioned many times about shitting here and there, and even have "so fucking what?" in it. Hmm, interesting read, but don't think can use it for my project, haha.

I love (half) the songs in Jay's latest album! Especially 说了再见, but the other 2 hit songs of this album are great too.

Good news

As usual again, when I'm supposed to be doing my project, I'm doing other things instead... so difficult to focus on my project!

But I'm really excited about the upcoming iPhone 4, which has (almost)all the good things in it! Something I have waited for very long... surprisingly how patient I can be for certain stuff. And I'm going for the white one, next month. I can't wait, can't wait.

Pretty pleased about my results as well, for my first OTB individual assignment and (MCQ)test, scored a D(for distinction) and a HD respectively. Both have been really easy if you studied, so such results were quite expected. As for the MCQ test, there were only 4 in my class who got 14.5/15, and I'm one of them :) Of course, this first module might be the easiest, so I can't be complacent and must continue to study hard.

Just a quick post before I go bath.

Had a fun day at k-box and Scape's flea market with Elsie yesterday! Got 3 tops, 1 shorts, 1 necklace and 2 pair of earrings. We also bought the new limited edition Maybelline's Pulse Perfection mascara which vibrates, haha at Watsons but quite expensive at $30, or rather the most expensive within its brand. I'm a big fan of their mascaras, been using since my teenage years till now, love their Volume Express series. But this new one is super good, adds fibre and lengthens your lashes super long! Hmm apparently it's not limited edition in other countries, was wondering why they make it limited when it's so good?

Maybe it's been many years since I left school, but I'm really not that sure about the people issues while doing projects. Not sure if I'm right in responsing that way, or saying whatever I said... feel so uncertain.

And I'm so darn lazy!! Wanted to do my project whole day today, but I had to do other stuff like washing my makeup brushes, caps, new clothes, then entertaining relatives coming over, then feeling so lethargic had a nap, woke up no mood to start yet and played some games.. only a few hours left for the day. Haiz, okay lah at least still got 2 wks left before submission.

Oh, and Sunway Lagoon was fun too, KL's shopping malls are so big! 3 days not enough... My biggest blue-black is also healing well, should be gone in a few more days.

Finally I'm done with the bridging module of Commercial Law... so happy that I hugged my bf and jumped around after the exam haha. The hardest is over... after this test I know I can deal with whatever comes, coz it won't be as siong as Law! 3 lessons and exam in 1 wk! Madness... and I only started studying at 8:30am yesterday all the way till almost 6pm to cram all that law nonsense in my head. So scared my mind would be a blank when I see the exam paper, but luckily I could recall most of the answers and they gave the main paper qns instead of the supp paper qns. Maybe the chicken essence helped some too haha.

However I can't be too happy yet... not much time to relax still! Now actually must do research for HRE project, then study for OTB test next Mon, and continue rush for OTB project due in 2 wks time! X.x

But just for now, i shall heckcare all these coz I'm going for holiday! A very well-deserved break at last.. out of this no. 1 most competitive country of 2010. Next Monday then continue worry all abt that...

Super hectic days

Finally can relax for a little while... these few days have been super hectic. I dunno why and how could I have wasted a few hours doing dunno what, ended up rushing assignment through the nite and reading up the law notes till 2am+. And waking at 7+am for Saturday's class...

Was quite pissed off by this group member, because of the way she tried to arrange our first project meetup thru' smses. I really don't like people who don't reply to my questions and just ask me another question. Anyway it's dumb to be affected by her and ruin my mood, so I have cooled down after ranting. It's only the start of the project, hence I decided not to make things awkward for her. But don't piss me off further, I will not give face then.

There's also another one, whom I have kinda figured out to be those type who like to make use of people without being truly sincere. Need your help then contact you, take but don't give. It really doesn't pay to be nice. Anyway just for 3 months, I hope I don't see them again, though I'll probably meet these sort of people in other modules, in life.

Despite the above, there are still good things about school. So far I have 3 lecturers, and I really like 2 of them. Both are Indians (one is indian-chi), and they are really funny and intersting. A good lecturer is really important, it helps to enhance your level of understanding of the subject, and that's when you learn best. This is my first experience of looking forward to classes, and I truly enjoy the learning process from them. So different from my previous schooling, or could it be due to the different perspective and mentality I have now compared to my teenage days? I was even worried about dozing in class before I enrolled in this course, but no, I listen attentively especially in the HRE class, and I feel that understanding the topic is more important than keep scribbling down notes which some others do.

Overall, it is still very tiring in particularly this week. Just last nite, after discovering some parts of my assignment gone, I really almost break down and cry. So much stress and frustration in me. But I asked myself what good does it do to cry and throw tantrum? It's a waste of energy, and I already felt so drained. So I literally picked myself up again, and continued to type back what I could recall.

It will get better, I know. It's what I have chosen, and I know it's a right decision. And I really appreciate those who support me in more ways than one.

Today is the last day to relax, before the super hectic days of classes after work for almost 8 days straight.. next weekend burnt! Until after next Wed, then I can heave a sigh of relief and look forward to my KL weekend trip.

Went prawning yesterday with dear after sch, and in total we got many prawns but only 1 was caught by me, the rest was given for free by the boss (probably in a gd mood with the RazorTV people there to interview). Dear was so happy he got interviewed, though I said they would probably cut him out haha. Oh I almost caught a crab/lobster! But it was so strong that even using all my mighty strength, it escaped. =( Anyway I brought the free prawns home as BBQ-ing is not an easy task, though we managed to BBQ a few somehow.

As for Friday was spent with Elsie, Jeremy & his friends, at The Hangout! Their website is one of the cutest I've ever seen, and I love that place! They have board games and console games, but we only played xbox games for that nite. 4 hours of non-stop Guitar Hero, Rock Band, & Band Hero! All of us left with tired aching eyes, haha but we really enjoyed ourselves. Only pity was that Rockband didn't have the whole list of songs. We missed the Rockband songs man! Then it actually rained heavily when we left, sianz, and I left first without joining them for supper.

Now, sitting in front of my desktop computer during a cloudy Sunday afternoon, (I think I typed this same words some weeks back) I realized I'm so tired, mentally. It's really tough studying part-time, working full-time, and spending time with friends and loved ones still. Besides all the other stuff like remembering to wash my makeup brushes at least once a wk, applying mask, etc.

Still, I'd been through worse shit to let myself get defeated by all these. I'll just keeping telling myself this. I can do it.

Well, i'm back blogging again.

Really super tired during the past week, with my grandmother's death and the commencement of school lessons after work. Had a rollercoaster ride of moodswings, but i have kind of stablized more or less.

When somebody you knew passed away, you tend to realize many things after that. And it's a good thing, at least it's not too late yet. So I am changing, my attitude to someone, and with my relevations I could advise those in a similar situation. Don't wait till it's too late, and you will never know when it may be.

And to my dearest, I can't thank you enough for what you have done for me, for loving me so much and accepting the whole of me. I really like this pic :)

Simple day

No matter how long I've stayed here, I still bump my toe/knee/leg against my sis's bed on the way into my bedroom always.

That either means I'm born clumsy, or my room is too small and my sister's bed shouldn't be placed that way.

Anyway I'm done with the shopping in preparation for school, something I have looked forward to. Had a fun time choosing the stationery with my favorite colors, and I ended up with these.

Took some effort to find the nicest pen to write - Uni Jetstream, but in the end I still didn't get the one I wanted, as I grabbed wrongly the newer version which is slimmer. Dear was amused by the way I went around looking for just a pen, but it's the perfect pen, not just any one will do, for me haha.

There's 2 sides to everything.

Finally I'm able to sleep for 12hours with the rainy best-to-sleep-in weather, but now I still feel so lethargic that I don't feel like doing much of anything else. I don't wanna laze my Saturday away but that seems like what I'm doing exactly.

So lazy.

Caught the thriller movie "Shutter Island" with them last nite, it's a pretty interesting, full of suspense movie. Only after that then I realized the main actor was Leonardo Dicaprio, haha yeah I always failed to recognise people's faces.

Dear is having his last exam later, 1.5 years passed by for him so quickly. I hope it does too for me. Though I won't pressurize myself like the way he does for his studies, coz I don't aim for the best. Only try my best.

Thunder is still rumbling away, I don't feel like going out.

There's 2 other issues I wanna mention.

1) I'm (finally) less fussy/picky about my food nowadays.

Maybe it's due time that I realized that I should eat alot of fibre everyday, I just dump plenty of veggy on my plate at home and eat it. Like how I ate the whole BK chicken burger yesterday without taking out the lettuce anymore. I should get started on more fruits as well.

2) My skin complexion is showing the effects of low maintenance!

Actually, I have been too lazy to apply moisturizer everyday, therefore it's not that surprising when my skin starts to appear dry and dull. Luckily I do have skincare products lying around, so I used the Follow Me Oxygen bubble mask followed by moisturizer and it's pretty good since my skin seems brighter and better the next morning.

But that's not the worse, now when I smile there are wrinkles at the side of my eyes.. terrible, I'm not even 25 yet! Then I spotted a small pot of Estee lauder's Eye recovery complex on my desk, so I better use it everyday and hope that it may help. If not then it's time for the search of a good eye care product that helps wrinkles go away!

How did I arrive at this stage so soon, to need anti-aging/wrinkles products?! Can only blame myself for being too lazy. Hope it's not late.

Me-time

Today I went home early, could still see the sun. Coz last nite at this time I was still at the office lor, at 8 plus. I need some me-time! Like now, surfing the net and listening to my new favorite - Lady Antebellum's songs! They are really great, the next best english group consisting of guys & a lady, after.. Evanescence. For me anyway, although totally different genre & mood.

My mei's been gone for 3 days already, and I frequently visit her newly created blog, about her days in Suzhou. Never fails to amuse me, haha. Either with the funny things that happened to her, or over her poor English. We tried to chat with her via webcam last nite, but the connection was so bad with images slow and blur, until we gave up.

A special day, the celebration of our 2 years aniversary :)

Although I got abit pissed for being unable to find the place, everthing else was good after we found the place. Did some research last nite since Mt Faber's cable cars are under revamp, so we ended up at Wild Rocket, a secluded restaurant at The Hangout.

Everybody seems to know that the main chef was once a lawyer, guess he appeared on some tv shows before. They served fusion food, and the service there was good. The waiter forgot about my coke, but they actually let us have the side dish on the house!

Outside the Hangout

The weather changed from cloudy to sunny, so in order to escape from the heat, we decided to try something together for the first time - LAN gaming! haha we headed to the nearby The Cathay's E2Max. Dear won me twice in Warcraft Frozen throne, but not fair lor he snatched MY gold mine which resulted in my downfall! :(

After 2hrs of lan gaming, we called it quits and went down for Ben & Jerry's. Ordered this double belgian waffle with Chunky Monkey & Chocolate Therapy, yummy.

In the end the weather became rainy, and dear managed to send me home though it rained but not too heavy. Had to travel pass little india, and it's terrible on a Sunday, lots of crazy people dashing across the road with no care! So reminder to self, avoid little india on Sundays.

One-way trip

Woke up feeling kinda light-headed, wonder if it's due to sleeping at 5+am earlier. When's the last time I slept so late... ages already boy.

Had a great time singing at Cash studios last nite with Elsie & Jeremy (the newly VIP), and the prata supper after that. And also holing myself up at the LAN shop before that playing Warcraft, haha it's been so long.

Now it's time for a nice cup of Nescafe coffee, in a rainy afternoon :)

I love the way coffee is a topic-starter with most working people, even strangers! I find it interesting to be able to interact with them and then go on to other interesting topics as well, so long it's not at a coffee shop with no air-conditioning, that's just not the place for me to have long conversations or be comfortable at ease for long, if you notice.

With a one-way ticket in my hands, there's no turning back now...

For a girl who have lived in her simple little world for so long, how will she cope with facing organizational and international issues? Way out of her scope.

Really ain't sure, but I'm ready to close my eyes, jump in and try.

We'll find out soon.

I'm happy to share about some wonderful stuff like...

1) ecoTools makeup brushes - Got the bamboo 6pcs brush set, so soft, environmental friendly with a resuable pouch. Actually I only wanted a powder & eyeliner brush, but at $15 it's pretty worth it.

2) Hair velco pad for the fringe, damn useful especially when doing makeup, to keep the fringe away from my face, and it's only $1 for 2pcs.

3) Realplayer SP - though only trial for 30 days, i can just download the sound clip of a nice song I heard playing on a website, with just a click! Or any videos.

4) Singnet BB 10mbps - i have complains at times, but now it's downloading at 1mb/sec!

All these are really making me a happy gal now, it's like so rewarding after a day's work haha. Seems like I'm blogging almost on a daily basis ever since I got my laptop, which is really on my lap now with me typing away :) But I guess only for this month, doubt I'll be so free once sch starts next mth.

I hate the times when negative emotions cloud my mind, and make me lose sight of what's really important.

At least I got over it, and I'm really lucky to have someone so patient and loving me so much.

Things really ain't as bad as it might be, like today being spec-less at work, I survived anyway.

Ice-cream nite!

Last nite metup with Jeremy & Elsie for ice-cream @ ICE3 cafe, and ate $20+ worth of ice-cream! Yum~ Jeremy's treat yeah thanks man! It's a nice hangout place, with our kind of music, and free water! Haha!

- Windows 7 display tabs at the bottom are much neater, i like!
- Windows 7 personalization themes, cool!
- Windows Live Mail is really useful
- Internet connection interface is much better

Overall i have good impressions of Windows 7, only con is that I'm unable to burn the recovery disk still after 2 attempts. And my laptop is not that light at 2.2kg (plus the bag even heavier).

So right now I'm blogging & surfing net in my room, what a nice experience...

Ups & Downs

Yesterday was a lousy day, with many things not going my way. Waited for half an hour for the damn bus with a hungry stomach made it all the more worse.

But then, after a very long journey today, with my new laptop in my hands now, I guess life is always full of ups and downs. Just gotta wait for the good things to come, which eventually will.

I love my Acer Aspire Timeline 4820T :D

Still, things are never smooth, I knew it. Only used the internet for a little while, and I was stuck with no connection for a FEW HOURS. But I persisted, restarting the modem and reconnecting many times, before I am connected again, with high download speed for now. You will never know man.

On the way back, I also bought a retractable mouse and foldable cooling fan for my laptop, and I got a new quest... the search for the perfect laptop skin design! I've always thought of it, but I didn't think I would own a laptop in the near future, so I gotta thank Singnet still for this wonderful promotion giving free laptop!

Just some updates

Just some updates here, since I tend to MIA online sometimes.

Gonna be a student again, spent a big sum of money on it, but at least I've finally decided to take the step. There's no more time to waste, I couldn't live a day and hate myself for not doing something always. So even though I have no idea whether it's a wise decision, if the money invested is worthwhile, I know my closed ones are happy for me.

This time round, I will really put in my utmost effort. Simply because I'm ain't a kid or teenager anymore. That time I was still immature, just wanna have fun, never thought seriously about the future. But after all that I've been through, I've changed. In what ways, if you really known me for long you would understand.

I dread work, because of one person. Can say being unreasonable, or just trying her best to get the work done, well depends on which way you view it from. I can't avoid it, so I can only just look forward to the off days, the hours after work.

It feels like time is never enough these days.

Woohoo~!! I love my 10mbps internet speed now!! Downloads are much faster! Finally, have waited for so long...

I can't wait for April to arrive, gonna attend SAMMI's concert & collecting my new laptop! :D The only troubling thing is that i gotta make up my mind by then which course I wanna enroll in. After that is worrying about the financial issue. Never-ending stuff to trouble over, wish I could be more carefree & decisive.

Thanks to elsie's recommendation, i have a new image now. Love the color & highlight, pretty complement my skin tone. Hairstyle-wise.. still need some getting used to. Black hair for almost 3 yrs, a change really did me good.

Many small things can make me feel DAMN annoyed. I got into such a foul mood, I wanted to screammmm. At least I resisted saying things I don't really mean, and gave myself time to cool down.

Wanted to send a picture with the theme "My Happiness" to register for the nuffnang event. But I couldn't find a nice one at all, posing with yummy food seems kinda lame, together with loved ones seems too common. The only one that could fit the theme was pretty blur, so I got nothing to send. Still, I hope to win that Canon camera!

Why the hell is my download rate only <3kb/sec?!! All the more damn sian.

The days are definitely getting hotter, just another sign of global warming.

I'm relaxing at home, on a Saturday. It's nice, considering the past few hectic days at work. Currently surfing the net, enjoying my music, if only with a Mocha frappuccino it would be perfect.

Since I'm free now, feel like starting on "Down with love", but perhaps later. Coz once I get started on a good drama, there won't be time for anything else till I'm finished with the drama. Then dear will hear less of me.. except "I'm busy, busy!" hehe.

Out with the old, in with the new! :)

Just chuck away some old makeups, so it's time for some new makeups! Really regret not buying the MM mascara while on sale few wks back. Why didn't I??! But it's okay, the next time there's Watsons/John Little sale (probably in mid 2010), I'll grab it.. along with some other stuff hehe.

In the meanwhile, I'll be ordering Coastal Scents mineral makeup, pretty excited! Hopefully it works as good on my face as with Elsie...

Yes, I know somebody will be shaking his head upon reading this post, however don't worry 我自有分寸.. the most I'll just spend less on other expenses. Like eat at kopitiams lor...

I'm starting to dread the lonely bus rides whereby my thoughts will start to wander.. together with emo songs playing on my iPod. Even thought of deleting my emo songs, but I can't bear to. So I better start finding more happy songs!

I chanced upon Sharon Au's blog, and it's an interesting read. I love the poems she posted there (btw i was a literature student for 4 yrs in sec sch), and some of the things she talked about are similar to my thoughts.

Perhaps with the long weekend that's why i feel more inclined to blog.

Came back not long ago from my relative's place, and this year I do not have much complaining as before in the previous years. I do hope it's because I'm learning to let go and be less affected by the others' behaviors, after all interaction is 2 way and there's just no use in saying anymore. I just put on a smiling face, do what I should and then soon it's time to leave.

Suddenly mind-block. Shall continue another day then.

It's the first day of the Tiger year! Happy lunar new yr!

This CNY has been different from the past, as i had 3 times of yu sheng already. Besides the usual one at reunion dinner with relatives, i also had one with dear's family and for the first time, at home with my family. I don't like yu sheng actually, but in the recent years i ate more of it especially at work, and have grown acustomed to it.

Today then i got started on spring-cleaning of my room, although it's more of just tidying some of the stuff, thrown away alot too. Yesterday finally received the bag and dress i ordered online, loves! :) Also went to buy a red belt to match the black dress, found a pretty one with different color gems on it and only <$20 at Ice Lemon Tea.

Right now my mood is feeling satisfied, with everything in good order. Hopefully this year all things will be smooth for me, especially at work. Gotta start on my exercises as well, and take care of my health. Da ji da li everyone!

Finally a night whereby I ain't so lazy enough to come online and blog.

A few points to say.

1) My comp has been re-starting so frequently I feel so resigned already. It can happen anytime, so I just sighed whenever it happened, just my luck if it didn't even restart and just died. Gotta wait a day before it revives.

2) Rainie's latest album is out! I'm excited for her, coz I really love most of her songs. And there's only one other person which I can say the same for... 周董！Anyway back to 雨爱, i super-duper love that song! It's so full of emotions, means hear liao sure feel emo! haha no lah it's really a lovely song.

3) Nowadays I can spot which photos online are taken by DSLR, it's sharper with more vibrant colors. Have been tempted to get a DSLR for the longest time...

4) iPhone is a great invention. All the more so with all the various interesting apps, especially those that allows lomo effects to photos. Seen some that are really cool. This is one big reason tempting me to get that iPhone, besides the point that my iPod touch really has no more space haha. But still i gotta wait for 2 more years...

Haven't blog on my comp for so long (the prev entry was using my iPod), but I'm full of frustrations now, so here I am.

I'm not ranting out loud, instead I just kept quiet during the rest of the way walking back. I know mostly it's me. But partly is really because of the poor words and directions given. It really gets to me. Besides all the other super-annoying idiotic obstacles along the way. Even though I know that's the way it is on the roads, behind the steering wheel, in the driver's seat.

And of course, it's not my car. If it's mine, I wouldn't mind just drive and get scratches or dents. Since I would be pretty rich by then to get one in the first place. Buy car is throw money anyway with the depreciation.

At least, I parked it damn nicely with one try at the end.

Are the days getting colder?

Soon will be the end of yet another year.. Bringing me closer to better days i hope?

My long wkend break last wk passed by so fast, but i spent the time doing meaningful stuff, which to me includes badminton in the morning (rare for a lazy cat like me), visiting a childhood wonderland - Science centre with my bestie, taking mrt all the way to Jurong east with fun squabbles along the way. Brought my mum out for a western lunch as well, to one of my fav diner - Aston! Of course also spent some time with my dear, poor him so busy with sch and work, we only managed to meet awhile for dinner, supper.

Finally got around to re-organizing my room desk too, just had the mood suddenly, and at last threw away many old stuff. Somehow i felt abit lighter too, as if burdens of the past been lifted.

Also due to his complaining, that's why i'm blogging now at this time on my ipod touch. :p Time to sleep..

Okay I wanna blog about my 1st total darkness experience ever! Haha actually it was at the Jurong Bird Park - "World of darkness" where they have the different night owls inside. Pretty dim place, but there's one spot where it was totally dark! Worse, I was at the back of the group, I think I panicked? Took out my new hp but the light was not enough still, couldn't see a thing.. i think i shouted "I can't see!" a few times.. until a colleague of mine managed to grab hold of me and lead me out. Felt abit paiseh when I was outside, i think a few of them heard me, somemore it's not my first time there also.

And for recent happy news:

1) I bought my SE T707! Managed to find the last lucid blue, this model already sold out in many places, and I only got it at $48 w/ 2yr plan

2) With the Levi's exchange old jeans for $50 off promo, I finally bought a pair of crytalised jeans! Lavender-color crystals on dark blue jeans... love @ 1st sight!

3) I won a lucky draw prize during last Sat's bowling competition (my company's event), got a blue Nike water bottle, which i eventually gave to my mei for advance b'dae present since she always wanted one

4) Bintan trip during my b'dae wkend! Beautiful beach, pretty chalet, fun ATV experience driving along the rough terrain & on the beach! So memorable...

5) Surprise b'dae dinner in advance! also another 1st time of my life.. unforgettable 24th b'dae i have this year thanks to my closest ones :)

We gotta learn to accept and adapt to it, because being resistant, only brings about suffering to ourself.

If we seriously think it through, life don't just revolve around a person or thing, we do we limit ourself to just it? There are so many possibilities out there, just waiting to be explored... if only we wish to.

I still hope I'm just thinking too much as usual, but I somehow feel that things are different already.

Anyway, I am really touched and thankful to my bunch of gd friends and Dear who gave me a wonderful surprise for my 24th b'dae in advance. Especially Elsie who thought and plan the whole thing, and made me a really happy gal last nite :) 谢谢大家！

Actually I'm having a headache right now.

But, suddenly i have the mood to blog.

You know, i do aspire to become one of those amateur photographers bringing their DSLR everywhere and shooting everything in sight? I love candid shots of people, however the people in my country don't appreciate cameras in their direction much. There are plenty of stuff left to take, like scenery, animals, buildings... and then I wonder what I gonna do with those pictures.

Anyway before all that, I should somehow get my hands on a DSLR first. Perhaps it's that tv commercial that got me interested again, Nikon D3000, seems really cool.

And then even Elsie has gotten herself the iPhone. Whereas my iPod touch is struggling with its almost full capacity, with new great songs coming every other day furthermore...

Gadgets, gadgets. Never enough.

I'm on leave tomorrow, a long weekend break!

For the gloomy days ahead, I really hope I can take things in stride and be affected less easily. Gonna be 24yrs old soon, shouldn't I be more used to such stuff?

In the meanwhile, I wanna spend my long wkend happily with my closed ones :)

It's only the start of the month, and I've already spent so much money on stuff. But you know.. the simple four letter word "SALE" has a magical effect on females... haha.

Anyway there was the Mega RSH warehouse sale, where I bought a pair of Lacoste Sollie Mor (50% off), Puma handbag, Le Coq Sportif waist pouch, 3 nike tops (2 tanks, 1 polo) and a beach bermuda for dear. Total damage abit below $200...

Then there was the G2000 discount with UOB cards, so I got a nice pair of office pants...

And yesterday while waiting for dear to have dinner together at AMK hub, ended up at Watts In and came out an hour later with 3 pairs of earrings, and their membership card!

Best, in order to wear that lovely earring I actually went to pierce another ear hole, so now I have 4 ear piercings in total! How come I didn't do so earlier?

But somehow today, I'm feeling quite emo.. like any sad melodies that I hear can make me tear... however someone surprise pop into my office earlier - elsie! :) So long haven't seen/go out with her, but we'll be on leave next Friday and finally can spend time together! haha...

I wonder.. two people who were so close can eventually become strangers again. As if those years never happen, and it seems all so wasted. Did we really learnt from it? The present is most important, but come tomorrow, the present becomes the past. Does now really matters at all?

I've been so lazy to blog... mainly due to my problematic modem which keeps disconnecting. But currently it's behaving much better, so I shall update awhile here.

Last nite finally went to the new K suites @ iluma with Dear, a very posh looking ktv outlet with really high-tech stuff. Very expensive, but for the price we ain't disappointed. There's 2 big plasma tv, with one tuned to football channel, wireless mic, touch-screen panel to select songs, adjust volume and record our singing! They even have blankets and disposable slippers for us! But I guess that will be the first and only time we visit, as it's really too expensive @ $90+!! Although I'll be going there again next Sat but free~

Haven't seen my besties for quite awhile, with Elsie soooo busy with work... :(

And I'm looking forward to October!!

Nearly had a heart attack just now.

While watching a movie online, suddenly my monitor screen went black. Tried to restart but my cpu started shrieking... so damn scared it crashed or something. Luckily it's back to normal after I off the switch and tried again after awhile. So now I quickly backup my stuff, especially photos.

Finally I can eat good stuff again!

Had a great wkend too, minus the part when I was so damn attitude. Sorry.

One can't possibly feel good everyday in a year of 365 days.

Today is just one of those days, when i feel so lousy about myself.

At least it started after i reached home, after I happened to flip thru' some papers and spotted a familiar face with a familiar name on an article. As I re-read it again, I wonder if I might be one of the few among them who's doing the worst, although frankly speaking is not that bad.

I may live a quiet simple life, but I'm pretty happy half the time. Of course I have the important ones and stuff, but who wouldn't wish they could have more?

It just hit me earlier, the position I'm currently in, the kind of life I'm living. I don't mean to complain because this is what I'd chose and I'm so-far-so-good, but I still have my times of confusion and loss about life.

Perhaps I just need awhile to sulk about it.

For other things, it's easy to tell myself to stop being so indecisive and make up my mind. I did, for quite a few matters. Tiny steps to self-improvement. But the future.. it's a big topic to chew on and think seriously.

And some people never even figure it out their entire life, and lived one step at a time.

This is my blog, I'm free to just write all these crap, to get it out of my system. Already feeling slightly better. Also thanks dear for your encouragement and words. Don't think that your words are not significant enough, they are, but I needed more. Needed time to sort out my thinkings and come to peace with myself. I know these kind of stuff only I can help myself. At least I got myself out of it, or soon.

Btw your new computer chair is pretty good and really worth it! Makes me think of getting one too, then I can adjust backwards, lean back and watch drama on my computer :D

Can't really sleep.

I'm doing fine, no more bleeding or pain, just that my cheek is swollen much more than last time. Probably there would be more bruises appearing soon, as the bottom wisdom tooth was a tough one to pull out, in four pieces eventually.

Finally, it's all over and done with.

Anyway, at last i have bought and downloaded the latest software version 3.0 for iPod touch, and i have been missing out on so much! So many free apps to download and play with... and there's even Sims 3 but at US$9.99. Hmm... maybe not.

And somehow it's so hard to find a recipe for Chawamushi online.. or did i spell wrongly? Gotta wait for Elsie to send me then... so hungry now.

要快乐，其实很简单。但有时候，真正的快乐却比你想像得跟渺远。。。

在两天内，被两个人说我常常把事情严重化，结果害到的是自己。有时候，好像是我真的喜欢跳进火抗，好像是我不想改变我自己，領愿一直这样下去。就算真的有改变，又怎样。。

太多事情，就算说了，做了，也还是一样的结果。

虽然一切还是在于我，有时我被这些复杂的情绪搞到我真的很累。

如果能够这么容易就忘记，让它算了吧，我就真的能好过一些。。我也想。

Some days back my dear got a parking fine even though he displayed a valid coupon, so we appealed against it online. A week later they finally replied and waived his summon, however upon hearing their answer I got damn mad.

They actually said they give us chance this first time, but this is their final warning! So are they accusing us of being liar?! True there are no concrete evidence, but we both know we did nothing wrong and damn that bloody guy who issue the summons who didn't see the coupon clearly or anyhow issue! So their guy must be honest and saying the truth, while we lied and wanted to get away from paying that 8 bucks which dear always paid for the past summons? Crazy, and what can we mere civilians do, complain at stomp like those lame whiners? Not me, anyway.

Because of this, then I realized I'm starting to dislike my own country. Really 101 ways to kope our money. Even my colleague went to eat prata at 3am also ended up getting $70 summon. Win liao lor.

I'm really pissed lah, to write this entry.

Doesn't help when I feel so cheated by the damn lousy ending for "The Legend of Speed" drama starring Rainie Yang and Li Wei. I can't believe they just ended it that way.

I used to be a coward.

But I am getting braver.

Wanna talk abt the learning experiences I gained because of the competitions in my company. To me, winning is not important. It's all about the experience, what I learnt, that I tried.

Although I never volunteer to participate, opportunities seemed to come knocking at my door, literally. I just didn't say no... which means consent. I was nervous, I was stressed, I practised and tried my best. I'm really glad I did.

It's a kind of personal achievement, to walk up the stage and sang in front of a crowd, which many others would have said no to. I did that and had colleagues cheering for me, and even gave me a little bouquet of flowers. I didn't win but felt so good still, because I have taken that step to change and become a little braver, girl.

Next, was the bowling competition. Well, I have the interest in a few sports, but was never good at any. Same goes for bowling. I ended up joining, making myself stressed, and arriving at the bowling alley feeling lonely, because there was nobody close to accompany/cheer for me. Even my team mates of 3 uncles were strangers to me. Despite that, one of my team mates started giving me guidance and correcting my mistakes, and there were the high-fives whenever any one of us got a strike/spare. I learnt from the experienced players, and it was a valuable experience that I wouldn't gain if I was that old Catherine who wouldn't even give it a try, and a chance for myself to explore and learn new things.

And for now, I was still pretty hesitant until the last min before I made things simpler - yes or no. So I went ahead for the badminton practice session today, and I learnt alot from the very experienced players. When I finally corrected my mistake and did it the right way, it was real satisfying to hear my "coach" say "yes! that's the way", which only encouraged me to continue trying harder... till my sports shoe spoilt. So, I have to get a pair of badminton shoes liao.

The sky was so gloomy on the way back, I really thought it would rain. Wanted to feel the raindrops on my face, but was disappointed, even though I waited for awhile.

Was so mad when I reached home and opened that letter, $38 for 3mb of data I couldn't even remember when I used on my hp?! Still mad at myself now, but at least I've cooled down some. These days I often tell myself, whenever things happened, don't waste time finding and putting the blame, most importantly is to find a solution and damn well learn from it.

I tried editing the codes to add in my imeem playlist on the right side, but after countless tries still failed. I wish there is somebody who can come along and help me solve such problem, but no longer will there be.

Feeling super damn lousy now.

Okay, got down to changing my blogskin at last, although a day later than said.

Been awhile since I last customized a blogskin to my likes - not bad, quite satisfied with the results. Easier to read as well.

Lately I'm easily stressed at work, therefore I'm trying to manage my stress, by thinking things won't be as bad as I thought, and eventually will be alright. Usually it does... but the process of changing takes time. Procrastination is also another bad habit of mine, so recently I kinda force myself to do the things at work I dread, so as to get it done and over with ASAP. But there's still so many things I have yet to do...

A good news before I better sleep soon, is that I'm looking forward to Friday! Actually I just made a dental appt on Friday - another consultation before my next wisdom tooth surgery. So I applied for leave, and also made plans with Elsie to go town :)

Oh, almost forgot abt Saturday - we're going kite-flying! And picnic.. I shall try to prepare something edible, if not buy lor hehe.

Anyway I hope to change to another new blogskin by tonight, and still have time to watch abit of the drama I just borrowed back yesterday - but I really shouldn't visit Hougang Mall in future.. too many temptations(in the form of tw/kr dramas) there, when I can really just watch them free online.

It's really a good practice to do research before you buy anything... especially new products. Spotted a new cleanser that looks interesting, but after reading some reviews online it isn't so great after all.

Had a fun time yesterday at Sengkang's swimming complex! Although they only have a few types of slides, it was quite exhilarating - you'll slide down really fast, and before you know it - SPLASH into the water! :D

It's only Monday, but I'm already stressed out by work... people-related issues. And work is often about chasing people for stuff, and people chasing you too. Never-ending chasing!

The weather is really hot lately. Who isn't feeling hot right now?

Currently my office like a mine zone, you dunno when one will suddenly explode near you... this kind of atmosphere seriously affects my morale and state of mind, that I often wanna get out of there. Sometimes when you think things can't get even worse, it just does. And this is one time when I really feel how bad it is to be stuck in between as the middleman. If the people involved are my personal friends, at least I could speak my mind, but when it's not it's better to just keep my thoughts to myself.

Anyway I left on the dot today, and tried taking another bus then change bus to go back home. Why haven't I try it earlier?? I reached home much earlier than always! Such a simple discovery actually made me felt so happy like a kid haha.

Finally started on this taiwan drama which I bought more than a year back, "My lucky star" starring Jimmy Lin and a korean girl. It's nice, with some cool racing scenes with Jimmy himself driving. When I'm occupied with dramas, means I'm a doubly happy girl :)

And, the weather is always indeed unpredictable. When I started typing this entry, I was still fanning myself, now it's strong winds outside and a storm coming very soon. Best time to sleep!

Although tomorrow's not Friday yet, I get to meet Dear after work! So tomorrow will feel like Friday to me... with hardcore jamming session on Saturday, life's good.. even with the shitty stuff.

Oh almost forgot to mention about my bowling competition last Saturday. Had a good time, with a nice team member giving me tips which really helped me improved! Played a total of 7 games, with my best score at 136. It's a good experience, and I hope to play more often from now onwards to brush up my skill. Until that day then I realized those who get their own bowling balls, actually custom the holes to their fingers size for the best grip... told to me by a colleague, therefore I'm having thoughts of getting one for myself maybe...

Today is like once in a year, whereby I actually metup with Dear straight after work for dinner. Haven't felt such anticipation for so long, and I'm really happy.

I've finally gotten down to find the song I wanted to find for so long - "I kissed a girl" by Katy Perry. The chorus is quite catchy, get stuck in my head once in a while.

Anyway I'm back from the follow-up checkup, everything's fine. Besides the throat inflammation that seems to be getting better, which is probably caused by the fish bone I swallowed last Saturday. Pretty miserable week I had, but at least I should be able to eat good food very soon. Of course, in moderation, wouldn't want my throat to get worse again.

Really felt like crap for the past several days, with frequent hunger pangs, feeling weak, achy and uncomfortable, even moodswings. Sorry and thanks to those who kana and beared with me still...

Since NDC is near Chinatown, I walked over and bought some stuff back. Like cheap daily necessities, 2 tops, a versatile shawl and this super-adorable-must-buy necklace from SIX! :)

I can't believe it. Throughout today I actually had 5 hiccups! What's wrong man...

Anyway today I finally went out... and got some things done.

Pretty happy with my buys of...

- 2 pairs of shoes from Mondo

- 1 top from Sixties Inspired

- 2 long necklaces from Talisman's

- 2 belts

I guess my favourite shoe brand is now Mondo, since I own 4 pairs in total including today's new additions. The 2 pairs I bought today are actually abit higher than my usual shoes, but I quite like them and there's 20% discount somemore... heh.

Also bought the double eyelid glue from Chameleon at last, but the price has increased since the last time I saw it. Sighz, when I first bought it few yrs back it was only around $10, today it's actually $21.50. Despite that much difference I bought it still, as my current one needs to be thrown away already. I need to find cheaper & good alternative!!

There's a spree currently selling at $89, with films(1 pax of 10) at $10.50 each. This ain't the first time I'm interested, as previously during my 21st b'dae I'd thought of getting one and making a scrapebook with the instant photos of a credit card size.

Day 3 after surgery

Was quite glad that there wasn't much pain after the surgery thus far... till last nite around 3am. When I finally lie down to sleep, suddenly there was agonizing PAIN. I tried to bear with it, but it got so bad that I woke up my mum. Took the painkiller pill but no use, so tried using ice to press against my jaw lightly, till I fell asleep around 6am...

So relieved when I woke up with no pain, but my face is more swollen and I'm still worried if it might happen again later. Haiz. Feeling quite down these few days...

Oh, and I saw on Yahoo News that Andy Lau is finally getting married next month... well, good for them I guess. Imagine being the wife of one of the world's most famous and handsome guy.

The Post-Surgery Entry

The waiting time at NDC was so long... I reached there slightly before 2:30pm which is my appointment time, but only went into the surgery room at 4pm! Was so bored with only magazines to pass the time.

When I'm finally on the chair, this young male dentist who left me a poor first impression proceeded to gave me 5-10 jabs quickly. Perhaps I just had those jabs not too long ago, so I just concentrated on breathing and it's done. But somehow after that I got nervous, and my hands went numb and my whole body trembling badly. Oh well just one of my old problems, so I told the doc to gimme a few min more to relax and luckily I got better for them to proceed with the surgery.

Next they kinda covered me up including my head leaving only my mouth exposed. Then they began.. some drilling, hammering, pulling, sewing.. the whole process to remove my 2 wisdom tooth was really fast, done in half an hr's time. The doc I didn't really like was not bad after all, as he gave encouragements and even hummed during the surgery. After that I was back to the waiting area for a long time again.. but I think it's because they are short-handed, as the nurses multi-tasked, so I couldn't really blame them for letting me wait so long. Anyway I finally left NDC after 5pm... and straight back home.

They gave me back my wisdom tooth, but they looked kinda gross with gum tissues attached to it, so after taking a picture of it I threw them away. Biting on the gauze for several hours is actually pretty tiring too for my mouth. Luckily the bleeding lessen during the nite and this morning I was feeling much better, although my face is still swollen. I doubt I can leave my house just yet, coz I looked quite ugly now :( Oh I managed to switch to mui fan after 2 meals of porridge.. feeling abit miserable being unable to eat those yummy food and tidbits, but I promised myself once I'm recovered I shall gorge myself on those food! Wahaha...

I wish my face is not swollen so I can go out and get more things done... like making new specs, shopping, finding a new pair of comfy office slip-on shoes, looking for more accessories... Hmm or should I wrap a scarf around my head to cover up my swollen face and add a pair of shades? lol alot of people will be looking at me and thinking I'm crazy lor...

Currently I'm not feeling nervous... yet, but I know no matter what I'll survive thru' it! Of course I will... everybody did haha.

Anyway the highlight of this weekend was... Rockband!!

Things seemed to happen pretty suddenly and fast, but to cut it short we just found a super good deal for the PS3 Rockband set & game at $250 only! Brought it back to elsie's place where we had a great time... I'm a happy girl but uncomparable to one's super high ecstatic look and the other smiling all the way from the shop back and thru' the nite... haha. It's really fun, brought out the other side(s) of me I guess... now for some pics!

On as last note, I realized I need to brush up on my focus.. or concentration during games. Earlier while I was playing Rockband, I tend to lose focus at some points and end up playing badly. Since I gonna take part in my company's bowling competition, I really need to train myself to FOCUS, in order to perform well and do my best.

Today is the only Sunday I ain't feeling sianz, coz tmr no work! But a nightmare awaits me... I guess I better sleep soon then.

Wonderful weekend! :)

Went Jurong Birdpark yesterday, had korean dinner for the first time, then down to Chjimes's Harry's Bar for the V.I.M.(very impt match)!

That place is the LFC base, felt kinda extra there, since almost everybody was wearing red Liverpool jersey and I'm aint a Liverpool fan... anyway had a great time, it was pretty interesting to watch a soccer match actually. Or maybe coz it was very exciting with Liverpool scoring 4 against Man U 1 haha. Okay pictures!

he loves Liverpool more than me :( haha

As for Sunday it's family day! Treated them to a late lunch at Crystal Jade Kitchen. Then I accompanied my mum around Orchard rd, while my sisters went down IT fair again, and came home with some new goodies! Got a bigger 8gb memory stick for my psp, Seagate 500gb HDD and the Canon Ixus 80IS! :D

I realized sometimes I don't breathe properly... at moments I just forget to continue breathing. That's really bad right, I have to remind myself to breathe.

After the hectic first two months of 2009, things seem to have slow down with March's arrival. I prefer fast pace at work, but then 23rd will come too soon. Although it means a week's break for me, and time to settle things that should have been done sooner, I still dread that day coming.

Anyway I have finally finished watching the tw drama "Fated to love you", and some scenes really made me cry. Still, I like happy(although predictable) endings. "Ji bao bei" is super adorable!!

And I gonna see Luo Zi Xiang this Saturday!! :D Although from very far away... haha

Quite sad that I lost the hairpin I loved most, in the short while I was out in the super duper heavy rain with strong winds.

But oh my, after the rain I saw the most beautiful huge rainbow! On my way home earlier I spotted the rainbow after I alighted, so I stood there admiring it till it faded away. Such a pity I didn't have any camera with me then, what a magical sight... the rainbow spread across 4,5 short office buildings so wide :) Like the picture below...

Was trying out a new blogskin and saw my archive posts. So I went back to 2006...

.. down the memory lane, maybe I shouldn't have, for past is past. So many things I have already forgotten, as if they never happened. It did. But it doesn't matter anymore. Then...?

For example, there's this entry whereby I said something I shouldn't have and couldn't forgive myself for it. But I can't even recall what was it I'd said then.

I guess for me many things are easily forgotten, or let go. Perhaps that's why I don't seem to treat matters seriously nowadays, like what for being so persistent? Years, or months down the road I won't even remember about it. BUT please note I'm not talking about everything, of course certain issues I remember still.

So now you know I have a poor memory. Especially don't ask me to repeat what someone have spoken to me about, coz only bits and pieces of the conversation remain in my mind.

Back to the archive entries, it made me think back.. (although I think alot often anyway) about some things I feel like mentioning.

I used to be more expressive.. or open on my blog. Alot of entries about my feelings, and mostly regarding my love life. Now I reveal much less I guess. At least the amount of negative stuff has gone down too.

The word 'love' has became so rarely seen on my blog now. I don't really talk about it anymore. I wonder is it because I'm not longer that young thinking love is everything... all those nice words and phrases on love, they're like bubbles.

No matter how much you believe, how much you try, nothing is definite all the way. Coz there's no gurantee in life.

Oh, and I'm still halfway reading through those archives, when I read about something which made me shocked and embarassed. I really can't remember I ever did such a thing! Hahaha...

Trips to Sentosa are always memorable. Actually looking back is not such a bad idea, since the photos reminded me of the great times as well.

Alright, finished the trip down memory lane. Back to the present.

I wonder what's in store for me tomorrow :) Haven't celebrated V-day for 2yrs.

Saw the scary truth yesterday, so 23rd March will be the dreadful day... of my wisdom tooth surgery.

Damn terrifying.

The Perfectionist. To get that right angle. Feeling satisfaction over a nice picture. Without that someone who can really understand, I have lost the desire/interest in photography.

Imagine. Quarreling over a tripod stand for the best angle. Haha.

Last night at elsie's place reminded me I loved to take candid shots. Many of them, so that we can laugh over it after time.

Herbal wine seafood steamboat for dinner, and a good view of the fireworks counting down with my dear and best friends. Even though was super-frustrating and tough to squeeze through the mass of bodies jammed together at Esplanade, and my feet was aching so much after walking one big round to the mrt stn.

Wow.. still high from his concert. Had a really great enjoyable time, I was like 5 metres away from ANDY LAU!!! Could see him so closely and I hope he saw me too! Today is also my dear's birthday, glad he like my surprise present heh. Also thanks to him for accompanying me to the concert, and treating me to Turtle soup for dinner.(though I felt kinda guilty for eating the turtle.. only ate abit too) Happy 24th darling! :)

Didn't get that LG hp in the end, as I had a bad experience with one of the shops at Lucky plaza. Only told me the total price including GST after he took my card already, and my twice repeated "PAY BY NETS" ends up with a VISA receipt still. Stupid people, can even say Nets and VISA the same. Told him off, and to void my VISA transaction and I don't want to buy anymore.

Although pissed off, I still enjoyed walking the whole of Orchard with dear that Saturday night.

This week, alot of SHIT things happened(and it's only Wednesday).

Luck was on my side, managed to find a shop selling that LG hp. Read all the comments/reviews I can possibly find online, 99% I gonna get it.. by this weekend :D

All this while, whenever I like/want something alot, I always buy it straight away myself, coz it's better than waiting long long for someone to get it for me hopefully. Still, I really wish that can happen once in a(long)while. But I guess I can only envy others. Even if envy, comparison etc are negative, they are still natural human feelings, can't help it.

Actually despite all my posts on different new cool gadgets, I haven't gotten any new hp or camera this year. Still I spent quite abit this year, like splurging on most exp concert tix, $100+ bag, psp, present, etc. So no more spending on stuff over $100 for next year, that shall be my 2009 resolution. Last expensive purchase will be this LG hp. Perhaps just 1 more slot for a camera next yr, and nothing else since I've got everything already. Except for a holiday trip. Well, must control my finances tightly lah since there will be tough times ahead.

Been busy with work lately.

But today is really... &&@#@$%$@#@!

First my shoe spoil again while going for meeting, so I jogged back to office with one foot bare, but on the way my handphone flew out of my jacket pocket and landed in pieces on the floor. Managed to borrow a spare pair of shoes from my colleague, though a size smaller, and my handphone luckily never spoil.

After the meeting, needed to bring a document to 5th flr urgently. Waited for a few mins but the lift still at 6th flr! So i bo bian walked up the stairs... and down again. Was so out of breath that I had difficulty talking to the secretary. Turned out there were VIP guests at 6th flr coming down, so the lift was 'bao' for them.

Then I had to bring back the laptop for tomorrow's seminar, so imagine me carrying 2 heavy bags on both shoulders, walking in smaller size shoes, going home... damn tiring.

Anyway at last tomorrow's the big day, which I am kinda the organizer of the whole thing. Will finally be able to relax after it's all over... till then I just hope nothing goes wrong.

Elsie get well soon too... got long wkend take gd care of yourself!

And as usual, I'm right abt what I mentioned in the previous post. Coz I'm still playing my psp(another new game), and I fell in love with another handphone, but it's OOS everywhere. If only someone can find it somewhere for me, I'll be so damn grateful!!

Yesterday I saw this interesting quote, "When I let go of who I am, then I can become what I might be"...

Met up with my jie's financial planner yesterday, and cleared up some doubts and misconceptions. Got me thinking alot seriously on the journey back. I'd like to think I have potential, to achieve more at the career level aspect. I have definitely changed. Like you can see the different type of workers, especially those who just do the work expected of them, and don't really bother to do/know/say more. I had that kind of attitude for my previous job, but no longer. Although it doesn't mean that I'm trying to do alot to move up the corporate ladder too, because I'm not an ambitious person.

Perhaps what I mean is that I don't remain quiet all the time anymore, and have learnt to speak up and give suggestions. I know that's not much but it's a start at least, and much room for improvement on my communication skills. I hate it whenever I'm nervous and tend to speak fast with my words unclear, although I'm slightly better now, continuous practise is still vital.

Shall continue to think and plan, maybe can come up with resolutions for the next year. Even if they might be forgotten soon after, it's better than no plans at all.. haha.

Been neglecting my comp and this blog lately, as I have a new love! :D

PSP slim (in lavender purple!)

It's my first own gaming console set, and all along I've wanted one, but until I saw my colleague's baby blue PSP slim, then I decided I MUST have it, coz the color's really cool! Impulsive act, sure, but I don't regret it, heh.

And the guy at the games shop actually gave me many games(even latest ones) for free! How super happy I was! Best buy of my life.. haha.

So besides coming online to search for more games.. it's back to my new darling's side again. Although I look more like a panda now, it's okay, u know it's new starting honeymoon period mah, before being neglected in time.. perhaps.

Maybe that's why I been wearing purple tops lately.. to match my new toy! Haha maybe I'm crazy... like my frenz said.

Haven't use Nokia brand for so long, and their menu icons are still.. so boring. But I like this one coz it's a nice slider, with a cool "Theme colorizer" function, and not-bad camera(3MP, autofocus, dual-LED).

Well, I know technology is always advancing, with new cooler handphones being introduced every other day. So I should really just get a good, slim camera. Instead of a high-end cameraphone which will lose its coolness pretty soon.

During dinner earlier, suddenly I turned around and stared at dear, "hey happy 6mths aniversary!" We both kinda forgotten abt it, but I remembered 1st hehe. So fast, still honeymoon period, no quarrel :)

Went over Bishan to collect spree items today, then met my colleague for lunch and visited her place. Had a fun time playing her Nintendo Wii, Super Smash Bros Brawl! Love how cool Zelda's poses are, and Pit is so dashing(like most other male main characters from FF) and can fly with wings!

Just 1 more week to see you two... yeah!

Oh and I've finally cleared up my room! So much spacious and nice now, love it!

After just 1 day, I'm... in love with another hp again!

The new exclusive revamped SE w595s, but it might not come to asian market. Hmm got chance of getting export set still. But it has no xenon flash(coz not, it's Walkman series not Cybershot), although I'm oh-so-attracted to its looks. Lucky I don't have such attitude towards guys, haha!

I'm really hopeless for slim, slider handphones with cool designs!

Planning for a big spring-cleaning of my room this wkend, hope I can really get it done...

I hereby announce PURPLE/lilac shall be my new favorite color!! :D

Saw the SE w350 in black & purple, immediately love at 1st sight.

It's so cool, so gorgeous, so slim!! I laid my hands on it, managed to try it, and I wish I can buy it straight away.. but it has a 1.3MP camera. How?? No point smuggle it into my workplace(dun allow camera-hp) and can't use it openly. A pity to disable the camera too. How??? $245...

1 of my spree items have arrived! 2 tops from SOCHEAPITSHURTS.COM. Similar designs with same lilac color. Really cute(and cheap)!

And my gum is getting better, hurting abit half the time only, rather than hurting alot or all the time -__-"
